As executive director, I started out by transforming and updating a remote home in Alaska. By having the freedom to experiment and test out my vision for a self supporting, energy efficient, off grid home, I was able to make all of the mistakes so that my clients wouldn't have to repeat any of the issues I encountered.
This home is ruggedized and weatherproof, easy to care for, self sustaining and fun to be in because it reflects the personal artistic flair of an eclectic group of designers who revere and appreciate the majesty of untamed Alaska.
